The Garden Fairies & the Friends of the Seward Library are joining up again to do an Art Walk in the Garden! Fiber Art pieces from a quilting group that use fiber scraps to create beautiful art work pieces that are table runners and mats to lap quilts and wall art. Come view this art work in the Library Museum garden during the First Friday art walk 6pm to 8pm, August 5, 2016. Art will be available for sale, all proceeds go to maintain our most beautiful public garden in Seward!
We will also be doing our 'Salmon Dip Off' contest! A popular event last year during our garden party, come taste the dips and vote for the best one! Winner by popular vote receives a certificate for 4 persons on a Major Marine Tour.
Used Books relating to gardening and out door recreation, will be on display and sale as well.
Salmon Dip Rules:

Salmon Dip Rules:
- Bring your dip (at least 2 cups= 16 oz.) in a covered container with your name on it and a phone number to reach you, (print your name and number so we can read it easily) deliver by 5pm to the library the day of the Art Walk, Friday, August 5th. Can by dropped off at the library starting at noon that day, we will keep in the kitchenette frig.
- Have a card with a list of the ingredients for folks with allergies to read. (not the recipe, just a list of what’s in the dip)
- Bring one box of crackers with your dip.
- Be sure to let us know if your dip is ‘hot’ as in spicy with a one to four stars rating. One being none and four being very hot.
