Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
According to the By-Laws of the Seward Community Library Association, a/k/a Friends, we will be holding our annual membership meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2014.
The new Friends board members have been working hard to get organized and be a support for the programs of the new library museum and the facility! The board meets on the third Thursday of the month. This annual meeting we will be renewing memberships, electing/confirming board members and reviewing our year. It's been a busy one! Old members, new members and community that would like to see what we have been up to, are welcome.
Many of you have been to our recent author events and this last one was a very large turn out. Feed back has been very supportive of these kinds of events and we'd like to continue with more. We need you! New Friends members would help us with our funding of programs and also help us by having volunteers to help with the set up, and hosting of our events.
Come to our annual meeting and see a review of our year and take a look at the future!
Thursday Sept 18, 6:30pm, in the Museum @ the round table. Museum will be open for our meeting and our attendees only.
Our membership form is found on our page titled Membership, print out and bring with you or send in. We will be filling out Membership Cards with your name on them to use at events or for when our benefits program is put in place.
Door prizes, light refreshments, fellowship.
