Waves Over Seward Video Information

 SCLA is proud to announce that our Waves Over Seward video is now available at two locations in Seward for the public to enjoy.  Historically, this video has been shown at the Seward Community Library Museum daily at 2:00 p.m. when the facility is open.  Currently, Waves viewing is included in the Museum entry fee and is shown in the Community Room on the first floor across the hall from the museum at 2:00 p.m. unless otherwise posted.  (239 6th Avenue).  

With the cooperation of the Kenai Fjords National Park Visitors Center, a new location has been added in the Seward boat harbor.  KFNP visitors center is located at 1212 4th Ave in the Seward boat harbor and is showing the Waves video at 11:30 a.m. daily, free to the public. 

Don't miss this enhanced video production that tells Seward's story of surviving the 1964 Alaska Earthquake.  Seward was devastated by this natural disaster and local citizens worked tirelessly to bring Seward back after the quake.  Hear from adults and children, our story of what happened during the Alaska Earthquake.
