The Wish Tree Books, sponsored by wonderful community members, are now at the Library!!
Stop by soon to see the beautiful books ready for sharing.
The Wish Tree program is one of the Friends sponsored events that bring direct books to our library shelves. Library staff select, with library patron input, a list of books for the library collections. Usually books for our youth. The Friends of the Library set up and decorate a 'Giving Tree' during the holiday months with tags of the books to be sponsored. Community can come in and select as many books as they would like to sponsor. The Friends re-stock the tree and help take it down, the staff orders the books and gets them ready to be checked out! Thank you library staff for your work!
